freeview hd tv
Freeview+ HD Can you tell me if a Freeview+ HD recorder would affect my TV which already had inbuilt Freeview?

I bought a TV with inbuilt Freeview and I have a video recorder which does not have Freeview. Would I be able to use a Freeview+ HD recorders which are advertised on the TV with out it causing problems to my TV reception?

Thank you for answering.

I am in the UK.

Sorry I’m so non technical, but what is a splitter?

It will work – just connect your aerial to the Freeview+ HD box and link the aerial output to your TV (If the Freeview+ box doesn’t have an aerial out, use a splitter) Then connect the Freeview+ box to your TV via an HDMI lead. This will allow you to watch the TV’s inbuilt Freeview while recording Freeview+ programs therefore letting you see 2 programs that are on at the same time on different channels.
