My boyfriend wants to get a 40 inch flat screen tv because they are having a big sale this weekend. Is $799 a
good price for that? What should I be looking for in terms of quality? I thought it would make a nice early Christmas present for him since he is so supportive of my son and I.
The brand is Magnavox. My old tv (which I just gave to a friend) was Magnavox and I had it for 10 years and it is still kicking.
well first of all check if its a name brand or not and what kind of “flat screen is this” lcd dlp plasma. How old is your son if he is small and touchs the screen often it will get ruined if you get an lcd. It also depends what he wants to watch on it if he likes sports get the lcd or plasma if he like movies get dlp. To answer your question if 799 is a good price. It most likely is becuase the original price was probably around 1000 which is the amount you should be spending to get a decent tv that size.
