How fast does an hdmi cord need to be for a 42″ tv?
Whenever I play a blue ray from our magnovox blue ray player the picture is way screwed up. Its choppy and segmented, its kinda like watching a 3d movie without the glasses.
Now I was told it was the cord so.I.went out and bought a cord that ran @ 10.1 gbps but its still the exact same!
I had this same problem at first when I played blue rays from my ps3 (with a different he cord though ) and all I had to do was change a setting and it worked, but I can’t change my settings on my blue ray player.
Im trying to watch this from a 42″ lg, can someone please explain what’s going on???
I don’t know what’s going on, but this is the first time I’ve heard that HDMI cables come in different speeds. I am pretty sure you were the victim of marketing hype, because as far as I know (and I used to work for a company that made pro video equipment), all HDMI cables are basically the same. Yeah, you can pay a lot more for a fancy one, but you won’t get better performance, because HDMI is digital.
