How can I connect my HD TV to home cinema system?
I have a Sony KDL-40 W4000 HD TV, Sky HD+ box and a PS3. I have recently bought a DAV-DZ280 Home theatre system but I can’t connect it to my TV by using HDMI. Could someone give me some advice please.
Contrary to what Peter says, your Dav-DZ280 has no optical input so you will have to use the Audio Line IN (Analog) to output the sound from the tv. That surround system is a pain in the ars* good spec but poor inputs.
Use the scart first to get the picture on the screen and then access the menu and change the video output to HDMI, job done.
