3D Ready TV: What is It?
What does It Mean?
It is just very simple. The term 3D Ready TV means that a particular television set is compatible with certain 3D features. The series 7000, 8000 and 9000 from Samsung are very good examples of this type of TV. These models are packaged including the exclusively manufactured 3D projector with a very unique processor. These are made to be in jive with certain 3D standards such as those from Blu-ray.
There is no size required when it comes to 3D Ready TV. Just about any size could be made into a 3D ready set. However, there is a minimum requirement for the TV’s refresh rate. It has to have at least 120 Hz refresh rate. 60Hz is intended for each eye. If the manufacturer is just too innovative, they could provide the public TV’s with much higher refresh rates. This will make the images a lot smoother and more defined and enjoyable to look at.
The Need to Purchase 3D Accessories
Of course, even if the TV you in your possession have the highest refresh rate, it would still be nothing when you don’t have the right 3D TV glasses. Remember it is the pair of 3D TV glasses that take you to the world of 3D. And experts in this field really suggest that if you are going to buy a pair of glasses, be sure that the glasses that you are getting are of the same brand as your 3D TV. By doing, you could be sure that you will get the results that you want; since items coming from the same brand have all been purposely built to synchronize with each other’s functions, no matter how diverse they are. In addition to that, buying items from the same manufacturer could save you time. If ever something goes wrong, you would only have to go to one service center. Isn’t this convenient?
Sony, Samsung and Panasonic, the leading manufacturers and innovators of today’s appliances and innovators have all favored to use active shutter technology to make the needed connection between the 3D TV and the 3D glasses. They made this agreement in a convention regarding the introduction and promotion of the expensive 3D TV. However, the use of such form of technology can be highly expensive since it will require a huge amount of power and electricity. Hence, there is this possibility that the agreement will not push through.
