Which tv is best for me? LCD, DLP or Plasma?
I am looking for a tv from 45in and up.
Which is best? i want name brand has to be 1080p, has to have HDMI.

these are 3 competing technologies LCD, Plasma and DLP. Glare is a slight problem but not a big deal my room has a lot of sunlight but i have blinds so i can limit it. Its not being mounted on a wall either.
just let me know which would be the best.
I forgot to add that, I have a xbox 360 that I have hooked to my tv and I do play video games on my tv.
For picture quality, contrast ratio, refresh rate, resolution, active black levels etc, I can only strongly recommend the plasma.
LCD (and LED/OLED) offers less power consumption, but if this isn’t an issue opt for the plasma.
DLP gives the poorest picture quality and worst viewing angle (and will also require (in my opinion) frequent bulb replacements), so again, I recommend the plasma.
Just before I commented, I read a post about games messing up the plasma….. This comment is without education and not plausible in my opinion. Without going into too much detail, the sub-pixels in the plasma screen will do what their told according to the voltage supplied. the 3 subpixels will add together to give you 1 pixel of light. The light produced will give you a colour. This colour will produce a picture on the screen. These pixels are doing the exact same thing whether you watch eastenders, play modern warfare 2 or watch wall-e on bluray. To the plasma screen, it doesn’t make and difference what the input.
I can only recommend plasma… you won’t be disappointed.
