LCD monitors are also considered a high security risk because being light-weight, easily portable and expensive they make a very attractive target for thieves.
Doing the necessary homework to ascertain the size and features of the required monitor is important to be able to stay within a budget. There is little point in paying for features that are not going to be used. The monitor that is chosen should fit the requirements and purpose.
