Nintendo 3DS Could Trigger Severe Eye Strain
Nintendo has pre-empted a potential issue with the 3DS system – even before the Nintendo 3DS release date. The Nintendo 3DS eye tension issue could stunt the advancement of children’s eyes. This eye tension issue isn’t unique to the 3DS system, however Nintendo is the first company to attack it head-on.
The Nintendo 3DS seems to strain the eyes
On Nintendo’s site, a warning was posted. Apparently 3DS eye tension is possible. Long periods of time with the 3-D system getting looked at are not always very good. In fact, dizziness, seizures and nausea are all brought on by this strain. Eye advancement might even be hurt if small kids use 3-D systems too often. The ability to look at one image with depth perception is something that the eyes lost the ability to do after the brain has been focusing on two images for so long.
Making the Nintendo 3DS eye tension no more an issue
When the Nintendo 3DS release date hits within the United States, Nintendo has several suggestions for parents. It is suggested that kids not be allowed to play the 3DS for more than an hour each day. Also, there ought to be breaks each 30 minutes. One feature on the 3DS is a password protected 3-D function. The password has to be used before the function can be turned on. There have been warnings not watch 3D images for too long for those who have eye difficulties or are intoxicated by the medical industry.
Will the Nintendo 3DS stop marketing with the eye strain?
The $300 system might not sell as well with the warning about the 3DS eye strain problem coming out just before the gadget is even released. There were public relations consultants that advised on this though. They said that many might buy the gadget after listening to the Nintendo warning. Many 3-D TV manufacturers do issue warnings about extended viewing of their goods; however the warnings are buried within the user’s guides to the TVs. Many want to know if the Nintendo goods will sell better with the Nintendo 3DS eye strain warning or if it’s going to kill revenue entirely. What do you think?
